You’ll Regret the Investments You Didn’t Make More Than the Ones You Did
I realized after writing a few weeks ago about having a plan, that there is a second part to that discipline…… prompting me to say something today that might come off a little strong.
But it’s because I care.
A lot.
I am so tired of watching people waste valuable wealth-building time.
Not because they’re lazy.
Not because they’re incapable.
But because they’re sitting on the sidelines…
waiting…
thinking…
overanalyzing…
…and doing nothing. A plan without action is just procrastination on paper.
Some days, it honestly feels like I’m standing in a bubble, yelling:
“Make a move. Do something. You’re too close to not act.”
And no one hears it.
Or worse… they hear it… and still don’t move.
And I don’t understand it.
Because I’ve seen what happens when people do act.
I’ve been part of it.
I’ve watched strategic financial decisions change people’s lives.
More control over their time.
More freedom in their choices.
More purpose in how they live.
Not someday.
In real time.
So, when I see someone capable… successful… disciplined…
…and still stuck?
It drives me crazy.
Because I know it’s not a capability problem.
It’s a decision problem.
Here’s the truth:
You don’t need to blow up your entire life.
You don’t need to get it perfect.
You don’t need to understand everything.
But you do need to take a step… damn it.
Take a small piece of what you’ve built…
and start thinking differently about it.
Not all of it.
Not recklessly.
Just enough to move some of your assets from Wall Street to Main Street. Whether that’s real estate, gold, or private debt.
At some point, you must stop outsourcing your thinking.
Stop blindly following financial advice that keeps you in the same lane.
Stop telling yourself you’ll “look into it later.”
Later turns into years.
Years turn into missed opportunities.
And this is the part that hits hardest:
You will be far more disappointed in the moves you didn’t make…
than the ones you did.
You either:
Accept exactly where you are… and truly love it.
Or…
You take full ownership of your future and start making different decisions.
There isn’t a third option that does not include frustration, disappointment or failure.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I am here to help if you need it.
Everyday I use my decades of experience to help professionals who know something is missing… who feel their current strategy is too narrow… and who are ready to take even a small step toward something better. My primarily expertise is Real Estate, but I also have experience and resources for all forms of alternative assets (thats what the world calls all investments NOT from Wall Street).
I believe so strongly that investing in alternative assets is transformational for your wealth that I will give you every resource, sponsor or opportunity I have vetted for free. You do not have to work with me, but you need to work with someone outside of Wall Street.
You don’t need a perfect plan to start.
But you do need a plan to go somewhere.
So start small.
Start imperfect.
But for the love of everything you’ve worked for…
Start.
